Back again
Sep. 19th, 2020 04:55 pmIt has been two years since I was last on this site and the number of things that have changed in my life, and in the world at large, during that time is both remarkable and devastating.
Fandom, much to my regret, took a backseat to real life for a long time. Yet here I am again because inevitably I cannot stay away … and don’t really want to.
So much of what happens online, the interactions on our personal accounts as well as fandom accounts, often amount to little more than shouting into the void. At one point I was willing to do little more than whisper into that vastness. I would like to think that time is over. For all the good and bad (mostly bad let's be real 2020 is kicking our collective asses) that the world has seen this year, and for all that I have learned in the intervening time since I was last here, I have finally come to understand that silence does no one any good.
